Freedom Consulting Group on Winning Team for Award of the Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise (SITE)
COLUMBIA, MD — (May 26, 2010) — Freedom Consulting Group, LLC is pleased to announce its selection as a partner to two large prime awardees, including Lockheed Martin Corporation, and one small business prime, Red Arch Solutions, Inc., for the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) contract supporting information technology (IT) requirements across the Defense Intelligence Enterprise and the greater Intelligence Community.
The Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise (SITE) contract is an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract designed to streamline execution, simplify purchase requests, standardize acquisition documentation, improve enterprise program management for customers, provide better reporting capability, improve contracting performance and data integrity and make the Agency’s overall IT acquisition processes more efficient. Managed by DIA, the contract will also incorporate IT requirements from customers across the Defense Intelligence Enterprise and the Intelligence Community. SITE is the second in a series of DIA Enterprise IDIQ vehicles intended to bring acquisition excellence to the Agency, following DIA’s IDIQ contract vehicle entitled “Solutions for Intelligence Analysis,” awarded in December 2007.
Freedom Consulting Group’s proven achievements in database architecture, systems development and software applications ensure the awardees and DIA a cutting edge approach to efficiency and modernization. “We see this as an opportunity to use our strengths to further the customer’s goal of peak productivity,” says Dana Gift, CEO. “Our ongoing work in other areas of the Intelligence Community points to the fact that Freedom Consulting Group is a valuable partner, equipped to respond to the challenges and advantages of today’s technology.”
The SITE contract will have a ceiling of $6.6 billion over five years. DIA is expecting SITE to facilitate cost efficiencies, innovative technical solutions, and enhanced competitive opportunities for industry. Competition among the listed firms for task orders under the SITE contract vehicle will begin this summer. The SITE contract vehicle will replace the multiple awards for DIA’s Department of Defense Intelligence Information System (DODIIS) Integration and Engineering Support Contracts (DIESCON3) and replace the Air Force’s longstanding Intelligence Information, Command and Control, Equipment and Enhancements (ICE2) single-award contract vehicle.
Freedom Consulting Group Receives Federal Business Partner of the Year Award From ESRI
COLUMBIA, MD — (April 15, 2010) — The Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI®) recently recognized Freedom Consulting Group (FCG) with their 2010 Federal Business Partner of the Year Award for outstanding achievements in the areas of sales, ingenuity, creativity, and contributions to technological development.
FCG has been instrumental in making ESRI technology — in particular, ESRI's Image Server — the standard for the management and distribution of imagery data in the Department of Defense. FCG worked closely with the ESRI product development team over a two-year period to improve the Image Server product, making it viable for enterprise use and large amounts of imagery. FCG shared the results with the intelligence community, through demonstrations and presentations, to create many sales opportunities for ESRI. FCG has also mastered several other challenging implementations of ESRI technology, including the GeoPortal extension, and created fast map services in secure environments. FCG has excelled in advocating ESRI across the DoD.
ESRI presented the award to Freedom Consulting Group, one of more than 2000 ESRI business partners in 46 countries, at ESRI's 2010 Worldwide Business Partner Conference in Palm Springs, California. "We are extremely honored to have been chosen for this award, and want to thank our team for their dedication and hard work. We look forward to a long-term partnership between Freedom Consulting Group and ESRI, and will continue to help our clients to best utilize the ESRI technology suite," said Dana Gift, CEO/CFO of Freedom Consulting Group.
